........ this year's "UN" pays homage to the KING himself..........

You've got so much material to work with this year that we'll have to bring in a computer just for costume judging! Get your teams together, and decide if you are going to all dress as elvis, in any of his performance periods, or from any of his movies.....or, dress the entire team as a theme from one of his songs or movies. As in the past, costume winners get not only prizes, but strokes. We know how shy and uncreative MILO attendees are (not!), but contact us if you need ideas, or pairing. We'll play this year at the Lexington course at Revere...one of Las Vegas' finest. This year's event once again features forecaddies to assist with strategy, ball shagging, club selection, putting lines, etc. SIGN UP electronically at http://tahoe.activitytickets.com/relax/ivcb/1094www.activitytickets/un.com.

Try this great new feature, ungolfers..........MEETINGS GOLF is a new social site for golfers in the meetings industry. MILO gets first crack at it, so experiment, trade some costume ideas, make dinner plans, arrange you transportation partners, or whatever..........rock on!

Dr. Brock, our Science Teacher, guides us though an observation activity.

I’m looking forward to a week of getting together to talk about
your child’s progress.  This class has made great strides in being responsible and reliable.  Your support has been huge.  :)  Even though this is our only scheduled conference time this year, please know that I’m happy to meet any time.
Dismissal this week will be at 12:50.

BIG SOCIAL STUDIES NEWS:
We’re starting our Chautauqua unit where each child selects a significant person from history to research and portray.  Information papers should come home today.  Homework this week will be to choose a person and begin researching.  By Friday, we should have 24 historical characters decided.

HALLOWEEN NEWS:
Our party will be on Thursday, 10/31, from 12 - 12:50.  Check out the sign up sheet by our class door.  Children can wear costumes, or bring them for the party, but no masks or props.  I know it will be FUN!!!

!!! Hi Claire!!!
